Intelligent street lighting can cut energy costs

An intelligent street lighting system, developed by Luix, could lead to energy savings of up to 85 per cent by managing the brightness of street lights based on the presence of people and vehicles in the area.
The lighting system uses up to 85 per cent less energy than old street lights and 50 per cent less energy than the most efficient street lights currently used.
