Luton-based waste management firm Cawleys has been awarded a contract to collect and process waste and recycling from the Canary Wharf estate in Tower Hamlets, London, it has been confirmed.
Under the deal, which commences in July 2015, Cawleys will collect around 8,000 tonnes per year of waste and recycling from Canary Wharf Management Ltd and its commercial tenants on the 97-acre estate, which includes London’s second tallest building, One Canada Square.
